It’s high time to start decorating homes and patios with red, white, and blue. With Memorial Day around the corner and Independence Day in July, I’m all about finding the best decor items for my living room and porch!
Walking into HomeGoods this week, I was thrilled to see this year’s patriotic collection. Having checked other stores (see links at the end of this post!), I can tell you that HomeGoods outdid themselves with some unique and whimsical items. And the prices are good too!
Ok, enough chit-chat, let me show you my favorite finds! Make sure to check out #17. It’s something I have never seen before. It’s not cheap, but it is the kind of piece that will wow guests. Guaranteed to get them talking!

Look at this adorable wooden Uncle Sam figure! The distressed finish gives it that perfect rustic charm, and I love how they’ve incorporated all the patriotic colors, but nothing looks plasticky.

Wrapping up this list, I’m sharing one of the items I got on that store visit. It’s definitely in theme, but I found it in a different aisle. At only $9.99, this set of three designer kitchen towels is a bargain. But I’m adding them here to let you know that I saw even more themed items in the store.
