  1. Turn off the TV.
  2. Have your optical digital audio cable on hand.
  3. Connect one end of the cable to the Optical Digital Out port at the back of your TV.
  4. Attach the other end to the Optical Digital In port of your audio system. Make sure that the cable is straight all the way and no part is bent so that it won't affect the signal transmission.
  5. Hook up the speakers to the home theatre's receiver.
  6. Turn on the TV and home theatre system.
